ERP (Kinetic): Access, Roles and Outages

ERP role changes follow IT-SOP-01 (manager request, Controller approval). For 'server unavailable' or slow reports, the ERP Administrator checks the app server and task agent; a whole-shift outage is P1.

Access and roles

Roles are granted through ERP security groups, not per-user menu changes. Requests need the manager and the Controller's approval (IT-SOP-01).

Errors

  • Server unavailable for several users: ERP Administrator checks the app server pool and the task agent. Call ext. 4400 for a whole-shift outage.
  • Reports time out: large date ranges on AP aging and job cost reports. The ERP Administrator can schedule the report to run overnight or add a filter.

Labor entry

If labor entry is down, supervisors record clock-ins on the paper backup sheet (form PR-12) and the ERP Administrator back-enters them.
