Laptops, Monitors, Docks and Peripherals

Standard kit: laptop, dock, two 24-inch monitors, keyboard, mouse, headset. Extra kit needs manager approval; typical lead time 5 business days. Damaged or swollen batteries: stop using and unplug the device, bring it to IT.

Requests

Extra monitors, docks and peripherals need the manager's OK in the ticket. IT keeps a small stock; otherwise lead time is about 5 business days.

Damaged devices

  • Swollen or bulging battery (trackpad lifting, case gap): power off, unplug, do not charge, and keep it away from heat. Bring it to IT. IT issues a loaner the same day.
  • Cracked screens and liquid damage: bring it in; do not try to dry it with heat.
