Wi-Fi: Shop Floor, Office and Guest Networks

Shop-floor tablets join TPC-Floor using a certificate from Intune. If one tablet drops off, reboot it and check the certificate hasn't expired. Guest Wi-Fi codes rotate weekly and are printed at reception.

Networks

  • TPC-Corp: laptops (certificate-based).
  • TPC-Floor: shop-floor tablets and terminals (certificate-based, limited access to work instructions and ERP).
  • TPC-Guest: visitors; code changes every Monday, printed at reception.

Tablet won't connect

  1. Reboot the tablet.
  2. Check Settings > Wi-Fi shows TPC-Floor. If it asks for a password, the Intune certificate has expired or been removed. IT re-syncs it.
  3. While it's down, operators use the cell's paper work-instruction binder.
